A studio where design and code speak one language
Sweet Lava is a Krakow-based design and development studio. We work directly with every client. For years, we’ve been moving freely between print design and digital interfaces. Because we operate as a close-knit, permanent team, our design and the final code always form a perfectly cohesive whole.
Team
-
Antonina Jasińska
UX/UI Head Designer
A designer who values logic and order. After years of creating complex publications, reports, and visual identities, she successfully transitioned her craft from paper to screen. Today, she designs highly usable UI/UX environments where aesthetics stem directly from function. She shares her knowledge and passion for design with ISZiD students at UKEN in Krakow.
-
Jerzy Koenigshaus
Product Head Design
Designer. He combines typographic and systems thinking with interaction design, including AI experiences (AX). He builds visual identity systems and complex UX systems for regulated industries and public institutions. His approach grows from a passion for image and analysis: he treats form as a tool for thinking, not just aesthetics. He runs workshops on visual brand strategy.
-
Piotr Sember
Head Developer
He designs the technical architecture and makes sure every product is built on clean, performant and secure code. For years he has been building optimised front-ends and reliable back-ends: from websites and stores to SaaS applications and AI integrations.
-
Agnieszka Wróblewska
Brand designer
Designing logos, symbols, and visual identities, she listens closely to clients' needs and analyzes every problem with systematic meticulousness. Her ideas and inspiration are drawn from nature, language, and her own creative and photographic practice. Ultimately, she matches graphic forms to words, words to forms, and simply loves creating order.
The specialist network
The core team is complemented by a proven network of collaborators: senior graphic designers, branding experts, copywriters, photographers and XR/AR specialists. We scale to the project, without big-agency overhead or quality compromises.
Where we come from
Sweet Lava grew out of years of hands-on design practice: visual identities, publications, and campaigns for cultural institutions, fashion brands, and tech companies. Print taught us precision – because once the presses roll, there is no such thing as "we'll fix it later."
Over time, our projects naturally migrated to the web. Instead of handing them off to outside contractors, we built our own engineering capabilities. Today, designers and developers work as one team: what gets designed is technically feasible, and what gets deployed looks exactly the way it was supposed to.
We are in this industry because designing gives us genuine joy, and successful deployments bring us real satisfaction. We treat design as the moment where flawless usability meets a positive human experience. Out of pure passion for the craft, one of us (Antonina) passes this knowledge on, teaching UX/UI design at UKEN. This academic connection keeps us from falling into a routine.
As a close-knit team, we look to the future with curiosity. Artificial intelligence is simply another catalyst for our growth. We test AI capabilities responsibly, treating them as an extension of our hands and minds. Ultimately, it’s about making sure the expertise we’ve honed over two decades works even more efficiently for you in the new technological landscape. For instance, the code for the website you are on right now was built with the conscious use of an AI model.
What we care about
-
Communication
We speak plainly about budgets, deadlines and risks, including when the conversation is hard. We'd rather say one honest sentence today than surprise you on next month's invoice.
-
People
Good products are built by creatve, engaged people. We match experts to projects and protect a working culture in which people want to do things well.
-
Relationships
The best projects grow out of trust built over years. Most of our clients return with their next project, and that is our favourite measure of quality.
