# Influger – UX audit, redesign and design system for a recommendation campaign web app

How do you manage dozens of campaigns from your phone? A redesign of the web app behind a platform that connects creators with brands.

Context

Influger is a platform that connects brands with creators and micro-influencers, helping them run and scale recommendation campaigns. Over time the system grew considerably and its interface could no longer keep up with the number of features, so it needed a new layout.

The project started before AI tools became part of designers' everyday work, so we carried out the UX audit entirely by hand. We analysed the extensive information architecture and identified the usability problems. It was time-consuming, but it taught us a lot and showed us how much a thorough analysis is worth.

Challenge

The biggest constraint was the existing system, which was already coded. We could change the architecture only as far as the code allowed, so we focused on rearranging elements within the layouts and on advanced CSS changes. Adapting the large product-list tables to mobile devices took us the most time. We replaced them with a tile view, designed so that the app runs smoothly and stays fully accessible on every screen.

## How do you make a layout people trust?

Building credibility was a parallel challenge, both visual and psychological. An app that handles real budgets and payouts has to look as secure and stable as a banking system, so there was no room for even the smallest visual flaw. We also had to give proper prominence to the logos of the many partner companies, so that they show the scale of the platform without cluttering the interface or overwhelming the user.

## A design system instead of duplicated work

The app had dozens of views with the backend already in place. To keep costs down and speed up the work, we created a design system. We started by refining the key screens and then used them to build a consistent component library. That let us design the remaining views much faster, without repeating the same work, and keep the whole system visually consistent.

## The result

We delivered a complete design backed by a new visual identity covering the logo, typography and colour palette. The final interface is exceptionally clear, highly functional and, most importantly, inspires the trust that financial operations require. The whole project was completed and successfully handed over for implementation. The digital market is changing remarkably fast right now – some products arrive well ahead of their time, others a moment too late. We're very curious to see how the industry reacts to the new Influger, and we believe the solid UX foundations we laid will help the brand meet market expectations.
